Network Marketing on FaceBook - Business - MLM

You can create a free account with FaceBook to get started. If you already have a social FaceBook account you may wish to make a separate business account. This saves any drunken shots of you at your cousins wedding appearing in front of prospective customers and distributers! You can put a selection of personal photos on your business account which introduce you as a real person but also reflect your professional side.

Once you've made your account you will be able to find friends by searching for people by name,e-mail address or groups they belong to. FaceBook will also suggest friends to you so If you're friends with Mary and Aroha and they are both friends with Toni, FaceBook will suggest Toni to you as a mutual friend. To get a new friend you'll send out an invite and the person who receives it can either accept or decline the offer.

Join some groups which target the area you're interested in for example if you're interested in Network Marketingyou can join the FaceBook group for this blog at AngeSuccess. You can "meet" with the people in a group and join discussions on the group wall. I don't recommend posting the same link over and over and over on the walls of dozens of groups with no regard to what the group is about unless you want to get kicked of FaceBook for spamming. If you're busy "talking" instead of listening people wont be interested in what you're saying.

Update your friends on new developments in your company, special offers or limited opportunities. You can also post links to valuable information and training for your friends. On FaceBook you can create events like webinars or live events and send out invitations to your friends. You may want to send out invitations to your opportunity webinars or live events.

If you're into programming you can create an application which users can put on their profiles such as local weather or a Netflix movie user profile. You can read more about How to Develop a Hit Facebook App: 29 Essential Tools and Tutorials here.

You can also create fun quizes such as: What is your mafia name? or Which Sex in the City Character are you? Theme the quiz to your business and share it around. If it's fun and memorable it will give your business some extra exposure while entertaining your friends.

FaceBook has some limitations and rules which you need to follow or your account may be closed. If you post too many links you will get a warning and if you ignore it your account will be closed. Also if you send out too many friend invites in one go FaceBook will send out a warning. Keep your FaceBook-ing to a small amount on a daily basis. It's also good to keep your e-mails and contact personal - sending generic e-mails to 200 people with: "Hi, I've got this great new opportunity where you can make $50 comissions over and over again. See these great testimonials from a mum of three who went from flat broke to earning $1,000 a day in just 7 days....." is asking for the receiver to mark you as a spammer. If too many people report you as a spammer then your account could get shut down.

FaceBook is an opportunity to promote you not your business. Chances are your business is not great, new, revolutionary or unheard of. What people are interested in is connecting with a real person and if they like you they will be interested in what you are selling. Think of all the products on TV which are sold by celebrities or even the owner of the company - you aren't buying the product; you're buying what a person you like has.

Quick Network Marketing on FaceBook Tips

- Don't oversell your business - or yourself! Sending endless e-mails will drive away your friends. As it would in the real world if you rang them three times a day.

- Be creative with your profile, status updates and photos. Let people see how interesting you are so you'd better start doing some interesting things this week

-Look for groups related to your Network Marketing company, there'll be dozens for you to join

-Break out your best PPC ads and post them on FaceBook ads too. They work similar to Google PPC and users can see them on the right hand side of the FaceBook browser pages.
